  Having checked out another nearby fish and chip shop we chose to eat here due to the impeccably clean appearance - newly fitted units, spotless stainless steel surfaces.
  
  Upon entry, we were pleasantly greeted by the owner. Having chosen our meal (they serve a selection of different types of fish), the fish was cooked fresh and looked incredible - huge serving of perfectly cooked fish, with a crunchy, golden, non-greasy batter. As we waited for our fish to cook, the owner and staff were more than happy to engage in friendly conversation with us, and were genuinely happy to have us in their establishment. All the staff seem very happy working there, which is reflected in their service and the general atmosphere.
  
  The meal tasted great, and joins my list of one of few fish and chip shops that I have visited that serve a top quality fish and chips.
  
  The price for a bag/box of fish and chips has risen dramatically since I was a child (it used to be a cheap alternative to the main competitors), however, so has the quality.
  
  I would definitely recommend this venue, and look forward to my return.
  
  Note - The portions are very generous. Even if you're a big eater like myself, the medium is more than enough.
